Dana Bingaman

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Dana was born in upstate NY, though has lived the majority of her life in Idaho.   Having family in both NY and Idaho, her family moved several times between the two states, in addition to one short adventure to Palm Desert, CA.

She was a quiet, introverted child and struggled with finding her place among other kids.  She preferred independent play, sitting back and observing others.  In her early adult years she was diagnosed with ADD and has gained an appreciation for what she calls her "Super Power" after becoming more educated on how it affected her everyday living.

Dana worked at a Boise semiconductor company for close to 20 years before deciding to take a leap of faith and reinvent herself with a change of career.

She has worked in multiple settings as a COTA, although her passion is working with kids and everything sensory.  Dana has always had a tender heart with children.  She enjoys helping kids and families reach their highest potential.

Dana received her credentials as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2010 and has training in Handwriting Without Tears, Bal-a-vis-x, S'cool Moves, Sensory Feeding Strategies, and on the job training with Sensory Integration Theory and Practice.

She has also completed Upledger CranioSacral Therapy courses; CS1, CS2, CSIRPE, and SER1.  In addition to Dr Lisa Upledgers course on Deepening the SER.

Dana loves spending time with her family.  She considers raising her kids her most rewarding accomplishment in her life.
