Tyler Haskell
Physical Therapist
I was involved in scouting in my youth and loved to go camping, hiking and fishing. Also, when my family lived in Vancouver, Washington we would frequently visit the Oregon Coast and I enjoyed exploring the tide pools, flying kites and going to the aquariums. When I was in college I went tandem skydiving.
I became a pediatric therapist because I enjoy working with children. There is a challenge about it that is different from other PT settings and I find it very rewarding. I enjoy being creative in trying to come up with activities that will help the children engage in therapy. It is also early enough in their lives to feel like you make a significant difference for them.
I am easily enticed by many different hobbies. I love experiencing new things. The things I have been most consistent in have been day hiking with my family, backpacking with my older son, running (I prefer trail running), going to the gym, working in my garden, and teaching myself the guitar. I would love to learn more about woodworking and auto mechanics. Someday I would like to learn how to SCUBA dive or learn a martial art skill even if I happen to be 80 when I begin it.
